Approaching February 2nd Deadline for YLP Applications.
The Rocky Mountain Chapter is pleased to participate in the Youth Leadership Program. Each summer, the FBI and the National Academy Associates co-sponsor and host the week-long training event for 14- to 16-year-old high school students. The Youth Leadership Program is available through cooperation between the FBI National Academy Associates, Inc., and the FBI. Students selected to attend will join other students from around the nation in the Washington, DC area for the prestigious opportunity. The tuition and lodging costs are covered by the FBI. While the program is not offered exclusively for those choosing a law enforcement career, candidates should desire to learn about the American system of criminal justice, including police organization, leadership, and the structure and operation of criminal courts.
 
The Rocky Mountain Chapter sends a student each year to represent Colorado and Wyoming at the YLP.
Applications must be returned to 2nd Vice President Russell Lengel by February 2nd!
