James (Jim) Howard Davis, 60, died suddenly on October 30, 2020 while walking his beloved dog, Sam.
Jim served as an FBI agent and was Denver Division’s SAC at the time he retired from the Bureau. He went on to serve Colorado as its executive director of public safety. He supported the National Academy program and was a friend to the Rocky Mountain Chapter, remaining an active member until his untimely death.
Jim is remembered as a storyteller and a good friend to many who knew him. He was known for his stature which was dwarfed by his larger-than-life personality and presence.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jen, who he described as his best friend, by his parents, his children, a sister and other relatives and many friends.
